Seems kind of far fetched considering the director is pretty green.  At least his IMDB credits are kind of thin.

I think this might be "wishful thinking" casting but hey, it got him some publicity so that wishful thinking might pay off in that respect.

But since it's listed as a romantic/comedy/thriller I think Shailene Woodley being in her early 20s wouldn't be a romantic lead for George. Unless he'd be playing her dad again.

Yeah I was just thinking that if he and Shailene were to be love interests, it would be really awkward ..

That will give George at least ten that I have heard of for possible new projects. He keeps himself busy God love him.

Just moving this to the films section. Yes, Mazy, he's got so many projects listed or rumoured as being in development.

I guess we can just wait and see.

Quantum Village
hmmm quantum is definately powerful good word. Not sure about the village with it. Don´t know the story/content, hard to say what would be better, maybe it fits.

All the judgment comes down to personal taste. Doesn´t have to be outlandish, but interesting, fresh and entertaining.

Absolutely him with young female lead. Ensures wider audience and attraction to the movie. He won´t be in "the bridges of Madison county stage" for the next 20 years yet!

Who knows, the script can be a masterpiece or has elements to become one after light or heavy modification. Easier to work on something that´s already there than start from the scratch. Director? Can´t he take over the directing if needed?

Or the book "A Wrinkle in Time." I suspect the movie is not for sometime.

Isn´t that book a science fiction fantasy novel? And this was suppose to be romantic movie?

Not saying that the book is related but most of the definitions on Quantum relate to some form of science of physics. Only saying that's the best that I came up with from searching could be way off base.
