Nooo, it´s just that he has to keep saying he won´t marry again and then next week that he might reconsider marrying again after the starter marriage. This will keep all the rational women on their toes. Smile

Re: question

Post by Carla97 on Sun 11 Aug 2013, 11:19

I don´t know why should he?

If I was in a relationship where the man says he will never marry me. It would mean it is over. Men usually mean what they say.

This happened last friday. I was in an antique shop with a friend. The keeper was funny, sarcastic, good looking man maybe 35-40 years old. We talked about cow bells over an hour. My friend was getting really bored and other customers left as well. Then I noticed interesting looking thing. It was the kind of thing you make holes to the letter.

He pulled his leather belt off and showed me how it still functions. Are you taking your pants off now? I asked. He was like yes. I have my friend here I said. She can watch, he said.

When we finally left he followed me to the car and said are you married? I said no. Are you? No. I love you, we should get married one day, please come back soon he said. For about 5 seconds I pictured how it would be like marry an antique shop keeper who soon opens his own art museum? Hmmm. Smile

Love in just a relationship OR in a marriage relationship? Well, I think it is about experiencing love in different ways/realms, d'aniela Smile BUT then, who really knows what goes on in George's heart/mind/soul?  God has something planned for him just as HE has for each one of us here and everywhere... And as we read the NEWS, we shall also get to know what God has in store for George... Na? I love you

Yes, but isn't that how Nick & Nina tied the knot?

No time-wasting deliberating. No apprehension..
I suppose they knew straight up.

Re: question

When Nick and Nina got married divorce was not as prevalent, you got married. So you learn to make it work, you get to know each other in a different way. Love usually grows stronger. But all marriages have there problems it's how you work through them that counts.

Today if your not happy in a few months you get a divorce, and I'm not saying that it's wrong to divorce. But it shouldn't be done lightly or easy, it should really be thought out as the marriage should have been.

That being said I sure wish I knew the first part years back then I wouldn't need to know the second.

Re: question

Post by Carla97 on Mon 12 Aug 2013, 07:37

Think about it, telling your kids how you and their father met?

Version one: We met and nothing much happened, we dated 5 years. He researched my ancestry, I ordered our horoscope charts. This helped us through the difficult days. Proved us we were meant for each other. He had his Mumbo nr. 5 on a side (you have heard the song, dear kids?), because he just couldn´t make up his mind. I didn´t want to push him so I waited, I waited. Then we were so sick and tired of each other that we had to either split or get married.

Version two: One fine day your father and I met. He was on his playful mood and said all those things any woman wants to hear. He talked me dizzy. Talking continues...the art of pushing:)

As Katiedot said there is info on the other thread but really, we were all Clooney Virgins at one point!

And frankly, I'm still a Clooney virgin and I'm still waiting for him to change that status!  Brahahaha

No Mel, you don't have first dibs - I get him alone in a room I certainly WON'T be thinking about you!  Of course, if I ever am alone in a room with him, with my luck he'd running out of there screaming his head off!
