Goodness...My humor must be too dark for everyone's taste. I was hmmm...half joking. I'm just saying it's not the first time we've seen him that way. You guys make it sound like it's a bad thing if he was wasted. I thought it was just George being George.

Maybe he was having fun or his back was hurting again so he drank more than usual. But whatever it is, drunk or not, it's not a big deal. It's not like I'm going to stop watching his movies.

Anyway I thought he liked hugging when he's drunk. But this time he did a little salsa. Cute, no?

I pray that is not so, I did research on his type of surgery techniquically it wasn't his back. There was a leak in the Dura that covers the spinal cord, it's major. I'm only about 95% sure that his was in the head some where near the base of the neck. When you leak spinal fluid it's major, that is also where the migraines come from. My daughter had a server head injury but she didn't have any leaks thank God

If hes had a bit too much to drink, don't see the problem with that, he's not driving and he has people taking care of him. Its not like we see photos of George plastered every single week, he's maybe just had a good night out, combine that with all the flashes from the camera and if that were me, I wouldn't have made it to the car.

I hope that you are right, however I am very concerned for his health. We know that the flashes do affect him, he has said so on more than one occasion. Also he does have medical problems. If he had a few too many that would be great, I just think it's a little more than that. Love you George. JMHO...

I'm sure he's had a glass or two or three - it was dinner, who the hell doesn't? I also think the flashes from the photographers are bothering him because you can see him holding up his hands to shield his eyes.

He wasn't so drunk that he needed help going down stairs or getting into his car.

He's the coolest cat in Hollywood town. But when George Clooney finished his dinner at an upmarket restaurant in London, he looked less than composed. George, 52, appeared to dance his way out of the venue, and at one point seemed close to tripping over his own feet.

Break: George has been filming new movie The Monument Men in Germany
The actor wore a grey suit to match his salt and pepper coloured hair, not forgetting his new vintage moustache.

He wore a white shirt underneath and added a touch of colour with a pair of red-tinted sunglasses. George had obviously taken a break from filming his latest film to fly into the capital, where he spent Wednesday evening enjoying the Japanese delights of Nobu restaurant.

The filmmaker's latest project is The Monument Men, a WWII epic that follows the story of art historians and museum curators striving to recover stolen artifacts and artwork from Hitler before they are destroyed.

Reuniting with his long-term writing partner Grant Heslov, George plays writer, producer, director and actor. He takes on the role of George Stout, an art curator and soldier who leads the mission to save the cultural items.

Oscar worthy? His WWII film is a good contender for awards season

The story is based upon Robert M. Edsel's non-fiction book The Monuments Men: Allied Heroes, Nazi Thieves, and the Greatest Treasure Hunt in History. Joining George is a cast of acting greats including John Goodman, Billy Murray, Hugh Bonneville, Cate Blanchett and Matt Damon.

Damon and Clooney have worked on a number of films together including Syriana and the Ocean's Eleven trilogy so will no doubt enjoy their time on set once more. The film is schedule for release on New Year's Day 2014.

Also in Europe but in another country, was George's girlfriend Stacy Keibler. Stacy joined the cinematic glitterati in Cannes for the annual film festival.

George looks very trim in that suit. I'd imagine he's lost weight by working so hard.
I don't think he looks drunk in those pictures. It looks like the camera flash lights are causing him trouble....again.

Maybe George Clooney is not too inebriated or maybe he's a bit tipsy. But it looks like the doormen at Nobu are trying to hold him from falling over in the second last photo.

And the way Waldo Sanchez is mock grimacing might be an indication that they were expecting an avalanche of paparazzi photographers. So, George is "entertaining" them jive walking & joking.

Looks like he had himself a good time at dinner, I'm sure all the flashes doesn't help, plus being tired for all his long hours. So what if he had 1 or 2 too many he's earned it. Can you image getting caught on film everytime you were out and about feeling a bit tipsy? I've seen him more sober than tipsy.

You expressed you opinion very nicely and not offensive to George. I think (IMO) "it's me" is being protective of George. I am all the time I hate to see any saying anything negative about him even if it might be true. This is not your fault it's the media's they like to make everything negative about whatever George is doing. Let's face it even I know that he had a couple but like you said everything else made it appear worse. The lights from the camera flashes seem to be bothering him more and more.

He'll be rested up a looking great soon as he gets finished with this project. Lucy keep posting we need all of us that love George posting. This way we get everyone's opinion. Love you George.

It's Me: I think your issue is a problem with English. Drunk and tipsy mean the same thing. Drunk may suggest rather too much alcohol taken whereas tipsy may mean just a little too much, but they both mean too much.

And these pics, he looks just fine!!! Slimmer, sure. Working sooo much and not eating very much can cause that. But also, his part and most of the film cast had to be slim. Their parts call for it. And if you remember much about the last days of Hitler's regime, his soldiers were very lean from hunger. He had stripped most of Germany for his army, but times were getting lean because everybody was having it rough during those times anyway.

Can you imagine how hard it was for these heroes who had to do their secret mission and prolly had to go without food sometimes until they could get back to some place where they had anything possibly waiting?

Any friendshops they made where there was a possibility of someone sharing a little food with them was prolly a valuable asset. Not to mention, they may have had to keep their truth hidden from most of those friendships. Because ppl were very afraid to do anything against Hitler. They knew how he would react if they were caught.

So the slimness could be from requirements or just not eating enough during work crunches. But it seems to have paid off. 3 weeks to rest up before going back to finish up. I'd say he had something very important to do tho, in London. Other wise, he would have finished his film, then come to rest.

Remember that he already did the last part of the film, in Germany. Remember the beard he wore for a few weeks? It was for the last part of the film. So can't imagine what part he's filming in London without his cast members and crew being there with him. Only he, Grant, Jean Du Jardin and John Goodman were mentioned leaving Germany.
