Well there will be photos. Virgin doesn't do anything with the need for the press to cover it.



Virgin America adding flights between Las Vegas and Los Angeles

California-based Virgin America will become the sixth airline to offer nonstop flights to and from Las Vegas’ most popular air destination — Los Angeles International Airport — when it begins offering three daily flights in April. Virgin America, which has an average of eight daily flights from McCarran International Airport to San Francisco and New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport, will add Los Angeles service April 22 using twin-engine, 119-passenger Airbus A319 jets. Las Vegas was an inaugural destination when the airline started operations in 2007 with flights to and from San Francisco.

Virgin America plans to initiate the new service with $39 one-way fares, which don’t include additional fees and taxes and are subject to blackout dates. A midweek nonrefundable round trip could be purchased for $78. The company charges $25 per bag each way. Flights will leave for Los Angeles at 1:20, 5:05 and 8:50 p.m., with return flights at 11:30 a.m., 3 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

Virgin America is not directly affiliated with Virgin Atlantic, the airline that offers nonstop flights between London and Las Vegas, but it partners with Virgin-branded companies. Virgin Atlantic’s leading shareholder, Richard Branson, is an investor in Virgin America. There are an average 32 flights a day between Las Vegas and Los Angeles International, and Virgin America will compete on the route with market leader Southwest Airlines and Delta, United, American and Spirit Airlines.

I have only found one photo in their lounge at LAX. Other celebrities were on the red carpet in Vegas. Maybe she only did the launch in Los Angeles:

Could be and/or she had just flown back from NY and was spotted (or she spotted) the paps covering the event. She isn't dressed in her normal red carpet clothes. I think it was just in the right place at the right time and she flew back on Virgin America so she was near / in their terminal.

So the event took place in the Virgin lounge at LAX, right?

It looks like the event started in LA but ended in Vegas with a red carpet event at the Cosmopolitan. Joe Jonas, Jaime Pressly and Adrienne Maloof (rhw?) tweeted about it and there are photos of them on the plane plus in Vegas. Maybe it was like Watching said, she happened to be at LAX or she just didn't go to Vegas.

Thanks Sillygirl. I'd guess that she wasn't invited (or couldn't make) the LV part of the event.

And obviously we have no idea when the Brad Goreski piece is filmed......

If she's appearing on Brad's show next week, it's already been filmed. It's a reality show which means they filmed her as he was styling her for an event, most likely long past.

I agree with Watching. Either she was on her way back from the car show and happened to be at LAX, or isn't doing the actual red carpet event.

What I find interesting about all this, from a purely entertainment world perspective, is that her PR level has dropped significantly since George has been in Berlin. Wiith the car show, I was struck by how she was basically an also there was G Clooney's girlfriend, while the usually Stacy crazy Daily Mail, waxed poetically about Emma Roberts and Kristen C and Juliana.

At the casino event, the Washington Post basically made fun of her and no one ran her Coachella pics, at least in the regular gossip rags. Who knows, maybe she's headed for LV and either her red carpet pics won't appear many places or she'll hit pay dirt but with the list of "stars" apparently appearing--Adrienne M (isn't she just a real housewife), Joe Jonas, Jaime Pressly...it's most definitely D List paradise. But...hey, $25,000 to walk a red carpet in LV...nothing to sneeze at!

On a side note...her hair color has really gotten darker. Is it just the lighting or is she slowly going brunette?
