Write it yourself: George Clooney's imaginary wedding
[I moved these posts from another thread because it looked like fun - Katiedot]
Well I wish he WOULD marry her! We could use a nice celebrity wedding right about now and his would be a doozy!
Think of all the money he could rake in just from the exclusive pictures of the rehearsal dinner from Entertainment Tonight.
The dress of course, would be Armani which would also net the happy couple a pretty penny for endorsement from Vogue for the exclusive pictures of the fittings.
He could then get the flowers sponsored by 1-800-Flowers. That would not only net him free flowers but probably another couple of million or more in fees!
The walk down the aisle and actual wedding would of course be given exclusively to People. They'd have to supply some serious security though cause they couldn't take the chance some pap would sneak into the wedding and try to take pictures to sell on their own.
And then the absolute ORGASMIC joy that would spill when they gave the Daily Mail the exclusive pictures of their first child! I'll bet he'd get 20 million or more just for that!
You know the man who said he'd never have kids! Holy sheet! I mean he could outdo the Kardasians when it came to the millions he could rake in from it all.
Then he'd just have to wait a couple of months and decide it wasn't going to work out - get a quicky divorce - of course he'd have an iron-clad pre-nup and he could start all over again with a new gal!
Hey, this could be his fallback plan once his acting/directing/producing career dries up.

Yes, perhaps all along George has been thinking of his retirement nest egg, this could be it!
Maybe if the Hope Diamond hasn't been chopped up yet, he could put that in a ring, now that would be impressive!

OMG! I completely forgot about the ring! Good choice theminis! Hope Diamond would be perfect - I mean he'd have to outdo Richard Burton with the ring! HA!

Re: Write it yourself: George Clooney's imaginary wedding
i think we all are missing George, something? If he was to get married it would not be Flamboyant, it would be sadate. Most likely no one would know until after the wedding. He probably would sell the picture but the money would go to charity, most likely Darfur.
George is not a flashy or wasteful, so wouldn't feel comfortable with all the waste of a big Hollywood wedding. jewelry would most likely vintage in style and reasonable in price.
That being said he has one thing that he has to wait for; to meet me. After all I'm going to be the bride.

The last time I saw it it was behind glass (several inches thick) on display at the National Gem & Mineral Collection in the National Museum of Natural History in Washington, DC., so I don't think it is a good choice because those who have owned or touched the gem suffered an ill fate.! Better leave it where it is.

Just got a special report. They are busy digging in all the diamond mines trying to find a diamond that will equal or surpass the Hope diamond. Once it's found G will propose.

I like the idea of mining for a new ring! Had forgotten about the Hope Diamond curse - so new ring would be a good idea!

Re: Write it yourself: George Clooney's imaginary wedding
I had to fix a printer in a jewelry store on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills, and the printer was in the vault. I asked them to please secure all the jewelry laying around so I couldnt possibly be connected with anything not accountable, even tho I had a security guard on each side of me watching my every move. When they picked up this one diamond ring, one large emarald cut diamond, the price tag was $545,000.00. I just about dropped my toolbag! To me it looked so gawdy, it looked fake. Guess Im not a material girl.

I told you they don't have to go to all that trouble it needs to be simple:
Just got a special report. They are busy digging in all the diamond mines trying to find a diamond that will equal or surpass the Hope diamond. Once it's found G will propose.
Deffinately not this one, I would never wear it:
price tag was $545,000.00
George & I want things low keyed.

Re: Write it yourself: George Clooney's imaginary wedding
Yes but this wedding isn't for YOU this wedding is for US the fans who have suffered thru countless revolving door, same shit, different day, cookie-cutter girlfriends!
We NEED this big wedding! It's OWED to us especially those of us who have suffered for YEARS waiting for him to GROW up, get a gal worthy of OUR expectations of who he should be dating and his life should be what WE THINK his life should be like.
We're waiting for the Happily Ever After! We NEED it!! WE DESERVE IT!!
Gosh darn it George!! It's time to grow up, have the big wedding and then be miserable like the rest of the population!
Brahahahahaha
But seriously, I think the gaudier the better!
Outdo the Tom Cruises and Eva Longoria's of the world with their multi-million dollar destination weddings and then get divorced like everyone else!
I'm free every weekend in June and you can send me my invite via PM here. I'll be plus one.
Thank you.

545,000.00
is not good
too much money in such a little thing
I think many beautiful gems can cost less
so better spend less
IMO
and spend money otherwise

Re: Write it yourself: George Clooney's imaginary wedding
Well I hear from the George's camp that this is why they have not wed yet George and Stacy are bumping heads on everything for their big nuptials from the guest list to the cake. What George is looking for... No he does not want to do Vegas again he understands he wants to include his parents so he wants to keep it as home town as he can. George wants to tie the knot in the month of September back home in Augusta. He wants to take his vows at the Baker Bird winery [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] He plans on getting dressed at the parents’ home in a suit and tie(no tux) while Stacy would dress at Hawk Wood Halls Bed & Breakfast. After their short simple vows they would hop on to his bike and head to the river walk for pictures ( Stacy hates this idea it would mess her hair), then join their low key of friends and family on the Jenny Ann riverboat ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) for a sunset cocktail hour while touring the river. After the ride they would all head to the community center ( [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] ) for a diner. The inside would have simple white linens on the tables and as center pieces there would be mason jars filled with daisy’s and native wild flowers. Hanging from the celling would be white paper lanterns. They would enjoy a meal of deep fried turkey, sushi, and roasted beef tenderloin with a bourbon glaze sauce. For sides there would be Hopin Jon’s (beans), Mac & Cheese and collard greens. Wine would be served for dinner. Tying up the meal with the last course desert would be good old fashion pecan pie instead of wedding cake, Stacy wanted little bite size gluten free cupcakes. But when the blue grass band comes out so would the Mint Juleps, Moonshine, Old Fashion and Whiskey Sours. They would go in to the wee hours dancing and having a good old time since old friends started to crash the party. Since George ends up so wasted he ends up going home with the girl he lost his virginity with because Stacy was passed out under the table with 2 of the blue grass band members. Woo hooo what a wedding!

He can have a quiet affair at Aunt Rosemary's museum, take the ferry boat across the Ohio River to Higginsport, Ohio, drive on State Route 50 to Coney Island amusement park outside Cincinnati, and sail on a boat in Lake Como (the big lake there is also called Lake Como).

Joanna wrote:But Henway.....you forgot the Casamigos tequila session !

Stacy requested no Casamigos at the affair since the real story was George getting it on with Cindy in Cabo while Stacy was passed out in bed next to them(she feels left out to this day). George did down a bottle though at his parents house along with his father who was crying his eyes out over this wedding. See Nick has always been fine with George not wedding anyone, George was living Nicks dream and now it has come to an end, kind of.
But while Nick and George where drowning their sorrows in tequila, Stacy was getting it on at the B&B with a group of Little Nickeys friends. Oh and Cindy and Rande missed the wedding they were given wrong info (by Stacy's maid of honor A.K.[pale friend]) of the location and had been sitting at Aunt Rosemary's Muesum sucking on a flask filled with Casamigos. Stacy holds gruges!

George thought of His Aunts Muesem but was afriad thing would be harmed during the wild night, the community center was more open and the Clooney name is attached to it so renting it out for him was free of charge. Guy has to save a buck where he can he knows Stacy's stylist has expensive taste.

I think for the wedding this may work.
Something old: The groom being nearly 20 years older may work
Something new: The wedding ring of course for both of them
Something borrowing: A sample from every gown that a previous GF has worn to major event can be sewn into Stacys dress, so ex GF's can be there in spirit
Something blue: Our faces if this ever happens!!!
