Julia Roberts and George Clooney Sue Atlanta Based Business

According to the Atlanta Journal Constitution, George Clooney and Julia Roberts are suing an Atlanta based business, Digital Projection Inc. of Kennesaw, for unauthorized use of their images in advertisements and promotions. Earlier this year, a similar lawsuit was filed in Canada by Roberts and Clooney against a company called Beyond Audio Inc.

Their lawsuit against Digital Projection Inc. was filed in a Atlanta federal court. Julia Roberts (who is suing under her married name Julia Moder) and George Clooney are seeking monetary damages. They also want a court order blocking the company from using their images in promotions and advertisements that they did not authorize. Roberts and Clooney also claim that Digital Projection used their images on Digital Projection's website, newsletters, brochures, and emails without permission.

Digital Projection, Inc, an Emmy® Award-winning manufacturer of high-performance projection systems. Their headquarters are in Kennesaw, Georgia about 30 miles northwest of Atlanta. Their equipment has been used at the Tribeca Film Festival and during the 2000 and 2002 NBC Olympic broadcast.

Julia Roberts and George Clooney have both appeared in the movie Ocean's Eleven. Roberts is currently filming the movie August: Osage County, which will be released in 2013. George Clooney has recently finished filming the Sci-Fi movie Gravity.
