Run Hide Fight

Given the state of the world and the kooks in it this video seems very timely and very important to view (IMO).

The City of Houston had put together this video with a grant from Homeland Security and they were going to release it later, but moved up the release date given the events in Colorado.

I like the simple, easy to remember message - Run Hide Fight.

I would hope that none of us would ever be in a situation like this but if this info could save a life then it is well worth posting here and asking all who read here to copy the link and pass it on to their friends and family.

Yes thank you Lorna, I really appreciate your posting this. It's a sad statement on our society as a whole that we have to view things like this in order to keep ourselves safe. I was a little astonished that when viewing this training video, that it evoked emotions in me even though I knew it was a training tape and not an actual event. I could feel myself reacting to the scenes because we've had so many shootings here in the US and this has been as especially violent summer here in Chicago.

Very helpful, and terrifying. The "turn off your cell phone ringer and vibration" when you're hiding is something I probably wouldn't have thought to do - I probably would try to call 911. Good to keep in mind.
