We are incredibly jealous George Clooney and Stacy Keibler's dream vacation.

The pair were spotted by some speedy photographers racing around Lake Como on a fancy scooter.

Wearing casual clobber with a helmet (safety first!), they looked like they were having a whale of a time, with George driving and Stacy perched behind him.

Keibler will need to make the most of her free time, if reports are to be believed - as she's allegedly top of Simon Cowell's wish-list to present the upcoming season of The X Factor USA.

The entire auditions stage has been shot without a host, but producers will be keen to get one signed before the boot camp and Judges' Houses stages begin shooting.

Also on the to-hire list is Khloe Kardashian... and with Simon allegedly keen to have two presenters this year, we are... erm... interested by the prospect of Stacy and Khloe teaming up.

George Clooney and Stacy Keibler are still enjoying 'la dolce vita'.

The couple were spotted today zooming around scenic Lake Como in Italy - as their European holiday continued.

Save for a bout of food poisoning, George, 51, and Stacy, 32, have been having a fantastic time at the former ER star's favourite holiday destination over the past month.

They arrived in mid June, and have been whiling away their long vacation by dining out and catching up with friends.

Today George was joined by film producer Grant Heslow as they took a scooter ride around the stunning lake.

Heslow co-wrote the 2005 movie Good Night, Good Luck with Clooney, in which the actor also starred.

On July 4, American Independence Day, events took a turn for the worse when George, Stacy and their entire dinner party were struck down with food poisoning after a meal out.

Former professional wrestler Stacy tweeted at the time: 'Finally had a bad meal in Italy, our whole dinner party got food poisoning. #ohwell‬ at least I'm still in Italy.'

Sources told TMZ that the couple had dined out with friends at a restaurant in Cernobbio, Italy, the area where George owns his Lake Como villa, before the whole party came down with food poisoning.

Catching up: Clooney was joined by film producer Grant Heslow, seen behind

Good pals: Heslow co-wrote the 2005 movie Good Night, Good Luck with Clooney, in which the actor also starred

The website reported at the time that no member of the party needed medical attention and everyone has recovered from their illness.

George's ex Karen Duffy, along with her husband John Lambros and their son Jack, were among people George has caught up with during his break.

The threesome were spotted enjoying a boat ride on Lake Como recently with George and Stacy, and the two women appeared to get on very well.

The Hollywood heartthrob dated Karen briefly in 1995 and clearly they're still very good friends.

George Clooney and his girlfriend Stacy Keibler enjoy a romantic scooter ride around Lake Como and Lake Lugano on Thursday (June 12) in Lugano, Switzerland.

The 51-year-old actor and his 32-year-old gal pal were joined by some pals for their sojourn around the lake.

Well, take heart TNMC. I just watched Entertainment Tonight and according to their poll, Stacy Keibler is the top pick for the All Stars DWTS show. But they were quick to say why. Namely 5 words - "George Clooney in the audience." While we've been quick to say that would never happen, George has done stuff I never thought he would (like be with Stacy this long). So, hey, who knows, right? I could see him subjugating himself to make an appearance, especially if she pulled out in the lead in the competition (assuming she's even picked to be on the show.)

All this is hypothesis, which is our forte, no?

These photo ops seem to have a cycle. Boat ride, restaurant, bike ride. So next up is the boat ride. Call me crazy, but I get the feeling someone is providing George or his team feedback from this site. They seem to be adjusting the photo ops to our comments.

My question is......why did he need to take Stacy on the ride while all the other guys were alone? Has he become so dependent upon her he can no longer do fun activities without her? In these photos there is a geographical error, Lake Como is entirely in Italy if they were taken in Switzerland (the border is very close) can not be the Lake Como but is Lake Lugano!

Ok, let's be logical ... these trips are made for the paparazzi and for advertising (at this moment more important for SK). It happened so also with previous GF .. (Lainey underscores this every time), but nobody knows what really happens between them when they are alone .....
Let's face it: how many of us bet(with Lainey the first) that SK would be with him even now? ... And also, IMO, for what I know, Stacy has to make a monument to Ely because if she, before Christmas would agree to come back with George, .....bye bye Stacy !!!! I do not think Stacy and Ely can never be friends are so different, one is always smiling no matter who is happy or not if the other is angry he can not even hide behind a mask. One lives for the other appear to be and do not care what they think of her! By the way I just heard from reliable sources that not only has left Ely George but he was not expecting it and asked to postpone the decision to end the summer, she had already chosen modellol dress for the Venice Film Festival and has telephoned to the showroom before the fateful June 22 to say that did not want him. The reason? I want a man that is when I need him not only be there when he needs me, and at times feel like a person who occupies a space!

That is sooooo sad that lovely Gee has to "scrape" together a relationship! My heart just goes out to him, if this is the life he has chosen. I'm quite sure that he could have both someone to love/and be loved by and his film work. I just don't get the "can't commit" thing, even when dating someone, you're not tied to them, so pick someone you REALLY like as a person and enjoy! I saw it and she was good, but there was a lot of backlash because she has had dance training and people weren't happy about that. People want to see stars with no training develop their skills, its the whole point of the show.

Well a lot of us have wanted to see George in a relationship were he supports his GF by showing up for her events, if he does GREAT it's about time.

The publicity part of this is for the scooter. It's an 'eco' one and the company responsible for it is one that GC is involved with on green issues. He's ridden it before on his own and clearly promoted it.

sorry barla but all of this is nonsense , and if you left your boyfriend like you claim Elisabetta did you don't go to pick your stuff from his house "villa oleander " shouting,screaming and be so nervous like some neighbors "eye witness said you should be happy independent woman but that wasn't the case so it must was George who dumped Elisabetta that made her sooooo mad ,and EC was smoking cigaret too at this day going back to smoking after several moths quitting smoking and we all know she quit for George sake he told Elisabetta choose me or smoking?and sure it was him , it seem was action drove by anger of getting dumped not action drive by a woman who happy for cutting her relationship with her BF . it just doesn't seem right as you say it and doesn't make any sense !

After being with someone for almost two years I think you would be upset and angry when breaking up regardless of who did the dumping. Its a natural part of the grieving process. I've always thought there was more to the story than George dumping EC because of articles that she wanted to get married and have a baby. Although I guess we will never know the real reason. It's so easy to assume that G broke up with Eli because, well he's George. But I often wondered if Eli may have initiated the break-up by posting she wanted to get married and have a baby. She knew this subject was taboo but still let it out.

Apparently she did and probably does want to have a family but knew this was impossible with him and so ended the relationship. Just conjecture on my part of course.

I think G really did care for Eli and they were both upset with the break-up. Eli was more needy than Stacy and I think he needs a Stacy type now after all the past dramatics.

I can tell you that what I reported I was told me by very credible person and in earlier times (for example the attempt at reconciliation of GC, which I knew well before the famous interview he gave to Hollywood Reporter ..). Obviously I was not an eyewitness to what happened .....
I think that EC was nervous during the separation and certainly not happy (it was not scheduled, almost so early). And for months she had continued to make tweet asking for the possibility of a reconciliation, even after the affair with Brooks (clearly fake ..). I think the real point of no return, at least for EC, it was late November, after photos with SK in Baltimore (after his elbow surgery) and after the premiere in LA of The Descendant ...
After that EC was going on to refer to GC, for most of the time, badly: do you remember the famous phrase "karma always wins" at the end of Oscar night? I believe that certain relationships are hard to overcome ....

Doesn't say much about George and how he views women, because they are so interchangeable. "Women are like buses you miss one the next one comes along." Also, in the above Just Jared article, first they call Stacy a girlfriend and then a few lines down a gal pal, I think that is what she is, a gal pal. Jared Eng would know, he knows Stacy.

...but I think that G has loved Ely in a romantic and different way than with SK....at the end, simply the story didn't work..that's all....

about the article by JJ (I think the SK last tweet was referring to the many and horrible criticism posted on the same article... to compare this, we're angels ...), I would carry a pretty interesting comment that refers to that some reporters whispering about the permanence of SK (as well as GC) in Como at this time: that the published photos might have been post-dated to believe that they are both still in Como .... interesting to understand how latest tweets SK always were posted on a time compatible with the time of the American west coast (I'm told that this parameter is not editable) not with the European one. For example, the last tweet was posted 7 hours ago by now and is reported American time of 6 am instead of the European 3pm ... What do you think?

The timezone on twitter is set by thw individual in their account settings. Since sk lives on the west coast she would have her time set PST. I doubt that she has changed her time zone setting just because she is in Italy.
