George Clooney drunk

It's Me's post on the Sudan thread about George supposedly being drunk in Sudan gave me the idea to see what other George drunk stuff there is out there on the internet. It's scary, I tell you, very scary.

So in the name of wholesome family edu-tainment, here's some of my finds:

BTW, I think the FDTD one was a prank on Juliette.

There's more out there (feel free to add your own!) but I've got to go and have dinner with my boss now. He's in his late 40s, dating a girl in her 20s and although he seems fond of her, he can't ever have dinner with her alone, always needs to be with other people. Sound familiar?

LOL! I tell you, if George really was like my boss then I'm not so sure I'd be running a fan website. Don't get me wrong, I like my boss but he's often a PIA*

*PIA used to be a code in London hotels for 'pain in the arse'. We used to add it to guest descriptions when the data protection laws came into effect which would allow guests the right to see what information hotels held about them. Fearful of being sued when the guest found out the unflattering (aka truthful) comments made about them, hotels reverted to code.

I am sort of new here! Smile

There is also an interview tha Clooney gave to ESPN, I think, talking about sports and he mentioned that during leatherheads they played basketball with the young guys and they won and he was hangover that day...something like that, if I find it. I iwll post it here.

The pic above of George drunk was taken while he was filming UITA in Miami and was "escorting" current gf Lucy Wolvert. I'm sure he sorely regrets having those pics taken. He looks like a sleazy man. Even though he isn't (old). haha

Don't understand above article. It says that George was in Sudan during the voting. Wasn't he shown out and about in LA at that same time. How could he be in both places at the same time? Am I mistaken. And who are the girls with him?

Hi Pattygirl - you're replying to posts from January! George was in Sudan for the referendum, but not for the independence itself if I remember rightly.

The girls in the pic are Lucy Wolvert and friends from another occasion entirely.

Katie, the article I was referring to was posted today by lelacorb and talked about the vote continuing until Jan 14. It is just above the pictures w/ wolvert. As they were all sent by leacorb, I thought they were part of same article.

Why is everyone so twisted out of shape because George drinks too much sometimes? IMHO George should be and is his own keeper. Who are we to judge his actions? I do not condone alcoholism (father was a drunk), but if that is his choice, Que sera, sera! Yes!

I for one accept him, warts and all. I don't have to live with him,so I can "love" him unconditionally, and I do.

I know it was from Jan. but my point was, they said in article that George was there at a Resort, was drunk and peed in the Nile. I was of the opinion that he didn't go to Sudan for the vote in Jan. but was home in LA. Is this another one of those spoof articles?

He WAS there in January when the vote was taken, but not there in July when South Sudan became an independent nation.

He's a good actor, a fine gentleman and I believe he should live his life the way he wants!

Screen hunk Clooney said the pair knocked back shots of alchohol [sic] at a New York restaurant until the early hours.

The following morning pint-sized DeVito appeared on US chat show The View still drunk, telling how he'd had no sleep the night before.

But Clooney admitted he was pouring his drinks into a plant pot to avoid getting more inebriated - while DeVito carried on boozing unaware.

He said: "I got to the point where I was dumping the shots into a plant next to me, and I don't think Danny saw me do that.

"The funniest thing was, we were just at a restaurant. It wasn't like we were out drinking. We were at a restaurant, sitting down, drinking.

Clooney, 45, added: "It was a brutal night."

In an interview to be shown on NBC's The Today Show today (mon), Ocean's Eleven star Clooney said: "We were doing shots of limoncello and that's all I can really say on the subject.

"Well, all I can remember."

"I had to do [chat show] Regis & Kelly the next day and I was pretty hung over as well." DeVito, 62, slurred his words, sat on presenter Rosie O'Donnell's lap and told rambling stories about President George W Bush on his appearance on The View on Wednesday.

After admitting he'd been out with Clooney all night, he said: "I knew it was the last seven limoncellos that was going to get me."

The View presenter Barbara Walters later told how the Twins actor was welcome back on her show.

Walters said: "We love him, we'll have him on again."

O'Donnell laughed off DeVito's disheveled appearance, saying: "Danny DeVito is not an alcoholic.

"He's just a guy who had too many drinks with his friends. He had a wonderful night out, and he was a little drunk."

I saw the View the day Danny was on and it was hilarious! And then George telling the story of him dumping his drinks while Danny continued drinking was so funny too.

This quote from the James Crumley novel "The Wrong Case" pretty much sums up my thoughts on the subject:

George works hard/plays hard - and I like that. Although I'm sure he's slowed down a bit as he's gotten older. I know I have. Wink

Besides, G and I share the love of some of the same bars, so he obviously has good taste in cocktailing. *clink* He seems to stop drinking for periods of time when he feels the need.

the worst were the china tong at dorchester dinner in london last october.
where stacy wore the salmon prom queen gown.
george was so sloshed.
he got in the car and looked like he was about to vomit. poor guy.
he even stepped on stacy gown tail and ripped it.
bryan had to hold him from falling down the stairs.

like he drinks to escape.

Someone on twitter posted it last month. They said it was George and commented on how lucky the girl in the photo was. It looks like George - his arms, eyebrows, jawline, hair and jeans, but I suppose the quality of the photo leaves some room for doubt.
