For those still interested in what Elisabetta Canalis is up to in her life post-George, I'm re-opening this thread for her.

I remind anyone who wants to post in this thread of the house rules which you are expected to follow. If you don't think you can follow these rules, then don't post in this thread:

1. No name calling.
We're not in school any more, so let's let go of the name calling. And that's the rule for whether you're talking to another poster or writing about someone in George's world. It's simple good manners and if you can't find a kind word to say, be sure we'll all see what sort of a person you really are.

2. No repetition
Everyone has the right to an opinion. Everyone. But you don't need to express it over and over and over and over again. Once is plenty. If someone disagrees with your views, you can explain yourself again, allow them to explain their point of view again and then you should both leave it.

3. About George's girlfriends
This house's opinion is that George can date who he wants, when he wants and any way he wants. As long as he isn't breaking the law, we're fine with it. Just because you wouldn't do something doesn't mean it's bad or wrong.

If you feel the need to criticise, pick apart and bitch about someone you've never met and who's done you no harm, ask yourself why. Because what you write says more about you than it ever could about his girlfriend.

A quick word about freedom of speech. Contrary to popular opinion on this site, freedom of speech doesn't mean you have the right to say what you want. Freedom of speech actually means everyone has the right to say what they want. That includes the right to disagree with what you said.

And finally a word about opinions. Opinions aren't sacred and just because you have an opinion doesn't mean it's precious or that nobody can disagree with you. Opinions can be wrong. Adding 'JMO' to the end of a post doesn't magically protect you from having anyone disagree with your opinion. All it means is that you're stating an opinion and not a fact.

So, anyone still interested in Elisabetta is welcome to post here.

Elisabetta Canalis stopped traffic in Italy yesterday as she filmed a Ferrero advert in the town of Gallarate.

The stunning model and TV presenter managed to change outfits twice as she filmed the commercial, attracting a crowd of admirers. Elisabetta, 33, was first spotted in a white mini dress as she strutted across the square.

Her tanned legs were on display in the short frock, with her nude heels elongating them further.

Next, Elisabetta filmed a scene that saw her sitting at an al fresco cafe.

Her second outfit was skinny jeans, heels, beige scarf and a brown leather jacket.

She sat alone at the table, gazing into the distance as she sipped on espresso and enjoyed a Ferrero chocolate.
She leaned forward and stared as a passer by caught her eye. Finally, Elisabetta swapped her jacket for a slinky white vest, to walk across the pavement as a group of men stared in her wake.

Earlier, the Italian beauty was spotted peering out of her trailer as she had her hair and make-up done.
The advert is only to be aired in Germany.

Jane Fonda vs. Elisabetta Canalis — Fashion Faceoff

Italian model and actress Elisabetta Canalis is glam every time she steps onto the red carpet. The former "Dancing With the Stars" contestant's looks even caught the eye of famed playboy George Clooney, who she dated for about two years until the couple called it quits in June 2011. But does she have what it takes to outshine Hollywood legend Jane Fonda? The ladies wore the same dark red, sequined gown designed by Roberto Cavalli just 15 months apart. Gasp! Did they think we wouldn't notice? Now we have no choice but to decide ... who wore it best?!

Fonda, 74, donned the dress for the premiere of animated film "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted" at the 2012 Cannes Film Festival in France in May. The Oscar-winning actress/workout guru/all-around-cool chick finished her look with Chopard jewels.

Canalis, 33, debuted the dress as she hosted the 2011 Sanremo Music Festival in Italy in February 2011. She left her hair down, and made her look all about the creation from Cavalli, one of her favorite designers.

This gown is gorgeous! I love the color, and the sequins really give it that extra oomph — as if either woman needs it! Canalis looks like, well, a model. And Fonda? The "Newsroom" actress looked fabulous for a woman of any age. Did I mention that she's technically a senior citizen? These ladies didn't make the decision easy, but I'm calling this one for ... Fonda! Now I hope she'll reveal her secret to looking so foxy at 74. Do you agree with my choice?

Love Elisabetta's hair here, but Jane wins the dress wearing hands down. Fits her like a glove, whereas Eli's is a little baggy on her.

I'd vote for Jane, they both wear it well but Melbert's right Jane's dress has a better fit. Women's amazing at 79!

So Elisabetta went to Italy to shoot the usual chocolate coffee ad for Ferrero/Germany which she had already done in the fall of 2010 in Rome with an actor and she was wearing that brown raincoat. This time the ad was shot in Gallarate, outside Milano where they converted an old “hat shop” into a “period” Coffee Shop. The white clothes (top and skirt), jeans an jacket are from very low end stores, H&M and Zara (remember this for later) but the shoes are from Jimmy Choo so quite expensive but according to onlookers she could hardly walk on the old cobblestone od Piazza della Liberta’ on such high heels with no support.

After the ad was over (1 day) she went shopping in Milano with a friend and was highly critized for the way she dressed (heat wave in Milano and she was wearing a summer frock and winter boots) and for her hair although as the writer said she still looks beautiful. Next a series of photos that she took, one of herself and several of Sardinian landscapes, presumably she is visiting her family there but she has never mentioned them. No special tweets from Sardinia except to cheer the Italian soccer team which played really bad and Germany won the European cup.

Next she appears on a coupon for a “Late Evening Sales Event” at the shopping center IL GLOBO located in Busnago, outside Milano. She is supposed to appear on July 7 and the coupon is redeemable at any information desk where you will get in exchange 20 Globocoins valid for any shopping purchases. Children can ride the choo-choo train and the merrygoround for free. This job was provided to her by her Italian PR Lucio Presta who is trying to offer her anything available while waiting to hear about the possibility to switch her with Belen at the “Italians Got Talent” TV program starting in September. Belen was supposed to conduct this program but Lucio Presta and Belen had a big fall out and Presta is now pushing Canalis.

Supposedly she is going back home next Wednesday as she had to dump her two dogs with Steve since AirFrance refused them on board nd she won’t stay away too long without them.

** H&M and Zara are the two low-end stores that are in the IL GLOBO Shopping Center Zara Top right, H&M bottom left). I presume the clothes were donated to Elisabetta for the Ferrero ad in exchange (partly) for her appearance on the “Late Night Sales Event).

After the filming of the Giotto chocolate ad, Elisabetta flew to her hometown of Alghero, Sardegna, and has been spending time there and also Genoa with family and friends and taking walks and photographing the local sites. Saturday, July 7th she will have a public appearance at a shopping center outside of Milan in Busnago, Italy.

She was photographed on the beach by Chi in Alghero. She is awaiting to see if she will get the part in Italy's Got Talent to air in September. She would take the place of Belen Rodriguez.

George, do you still have the coupon that shows Elisabetta's event of July 7 at Il GLOBO? I cannot find it, It is the one that shows that you can cut the coupon and exchange it at the Information desk for 20 Globocoins.

Thank you George. You mentioned that Elisabetta went to Genova to meet friend/family. I don't recall seeing anything about Genova. If you are thinking about the photo with Sofia Vergara, Vale etc. that was taken in Milan when Sofia first landed and they all met too celebrate. Elisabetta had to stay in Milano because of the chocolate ad but the rest of the group moved to Capri. Later on they came back and went to Portofino where Sofia was also joined by her boyfriend and Magic Johnson (I wish I could find the pic, do you still have it, it seemed to have to disappear) but Elisabetta wasn't there, she was already in Sardinia to visit family. Did you hear otherwise?

Unless this was from another time Socimar Elisabetta has posted a photo and said she visited her friend Syria in Genova having a beer. That is close to Sardinia. Don't know the timestamp though.

It is an old picture that Elisabetta just uploaded in Instagram. You are right, Genova is not far away from Sardinia but you still need to drive there from Milan...and wouldn't you do when your group of friends are having a ball in Portofino, near Genova in the Riviera?? Then of course you have to find a flight from Genova to Alghero. She hasn't traveled that much, she just went from Milano to Alghero.

I guess it makes sense because the event is a SALE so you already get items on special sale and the kids ride for free. But if you need the coins (and you get only 20) why do they say they ride for free (GRATIS)? Oh well, I am not going to bother since I won't be there.

Someone from Sardinia said it was "old Alghero' (her hometown) she took several pictured of the old town if you have access to istagram because not all are posted on Twitter.
