George and Stacy just arrived about 10 minutes ago and I have to admit she looks GREAT with her gold gown, even her hair looks good. Alexander Payne arrived too with his mother who looks a little overwhelmed, as I certainly would. LOL. And George looks good too.

Silly Girl I'm with you, not the right look for the oscars, dress looks cheap with the hair and fake tan. She looked better at some of his premieres so I am shocked that she didn't knock it out of the park here. Oh well, at least George looks fabulous.

The dress isn't actively bad, like some of her others have been. I think the flower thing on the hip is a little too much, but otherwise it's okay. At least her hair looks like it was combed. Progress! Very Happy

Kelly Osborne just pronounce them the couple of the night, with Stacy's Marchesa dress "exquisite". To each her own, I guess.

Thanks Joanna. I do like the dress but think it would look much better without the rose. Never did like flowers on a dress. OK, her hair looks better but his not so much. IMO

I really just don't like Marchesa, the bow reminds me of wedding dresses in the 90's and most all had big bows somewhere. Bad flashback. I wish she didn't spray tan since it is gold. Makes her look a bit cheap. Overall, she looks okay, better than Elisabetta at the Oscars for sure.

We're talking about Stacy here in relation to her appearance at the Oscars as she is obviously part of the topic of Clooney at the Oscars, 2012. If the arm candy is walking down the red carpet with him then she, what she's wearing and also what she may say OTRC makes sense to me as being part of this particular topic.

If you go to twitter and type in George Clooney you will see that many of the Oscar related comments are also about her.

Just saw him on german TV.
He was asked about his new movie, Monument Man.
They will look for locations in Germany, Austria, UK and Italy this summer. Then Stacy was asked if she would help George to babysit Brad's kids when George loses his bet. Stacy said of course and George said a bet like that doesn't exist but he likes that's out there.

Kelly Osborne has no taste - she uses a purple wash on her hair. Horrible looking. Does she have a green card?? lol.

Yeah, can we call a moratorium on the "Stacy comments only in Stacy's thread" rule just for tonight? Having to switch back and forth between the two tabs is kind of a hassle with everything happening so quickly.

Is anyone else watching E!? They went on forever about how stunning the dress is, and the celebrity stylist on the panel said she'd tried to get it for her client, but they'd already given it to Stacy. According to this stylist, Stacy was given first choice from the Marchesa line.

George looks sexy as ever. I like Stacy's hair, make-up, style and cut of the dress, but it is too metallic for me. Someone on another site said she is sending a subliminal message to George, that she is a 100% gold trophy worth keeping around.
