Interview with Julianna Marguiles - George mention...

Quite a long interview....just posted the George mention....

While Peter may have done the dirty on Alicia, the female viewing public nonetheless swoons over Noth, another handsome notch on Julianna’s professional bedpost after the six years she spent as George Clooney’s love interest in ER. ‘At dinner recently, a friend of mine went through the list of leading men I’ve kissed: Chris Noth, George Clooney, Pierce Brosnan, Aidan Quinn, Matthew McConaughey... I realised I’ve been very lucky.
‘But my husband is very secure in himself,’ she adds. ‘He knows he has nothing to worry about. To me, none of them compare to him – he’s really rather yummy.’

Although I think in George's case she wasn't pretending.....there was a story a few years ago that she loved him and he loved her BUT he didn't want to settle down and had career plans blah blah blah.....I think she would have been a good choice...she's attractive and seems intelligent, interesting and down to earth....You might know from my forum name I'm interested in Merlin (and Arthur....) and I have a DVD with Julianna in called Mists of Avalon and she was lovely in it.

I agree, Merlin, but if Julianna wanted children, than I'm thinking that would have put George off, too.

I think Julianna is too strong for George and she had a serious relationship for years with one of the other actors on ER. She would have kicked his ass, I think she fell for him a little but most of his leading ladies seem too. Also she did want kids and he clearly doesn't. They are probably better off as friends and both smart enough to know that.

After George left ER she married another actor on ER (I think he was a paramedic) they were only together for a couple of years and at the time I thought she was on the rebound...I'm glad she's happy and settled now I like her as Carol and as an actress/person.

They dated? When did that happen?

I've never read that they 'officially' dated but there was a story in a couple of magazines about her being in love with him blah blah blah.....could have just been made up....you know what magazines are like LOL....
