Re: General Chitchat for December

It probably doesn't LD. When TD first came out, it was in "limited" showings. Well, I live in Staten Island, which is part of NYC, and it was showing in only one theater in NYC and as devoted a fan as I am, I sure as hell wasn't going to get on an express bus @ $5.00 each way, and then spend at least $8.00 (if they had senior pricing). It would have taken approx. 1.5 hrs. to get there, and then there's the bus schedule to consider and how it works with the show times. Worked out to at least $18.00 and 5 hrs. travel and wait time. Figured, when it came to SI, I'd go then. We have 3 multiplex theaters on the Island, so no problem, it would hit at least 2 of them, right. Well, it showed in one, but I did get to see it and loved it.
We can only sacrifice so much for George. Razz

Lorna, I know you're kidding but nope I don't live out in the sticks. A smaller town, yes, but a touristy one (around 11,000,000 per year) and we have two theaters locally so I have no clue why IOM nor TD played at either.
I hear you on the small town with easy access to a larger city. The only time I've encountered that is visiting my friend who lives in NW Indiana. She is an hour away (less by train) to Chicago. I love it there. We have seriously thought about moving up there too.

WARNING TO ALL ON COH:
There are some very insane posters on Just Jared falsely claiming to be me or some of my fellow posters here on COH, and making some totally bizarre and outrageous points in the process. I have a very, very distinctive writing style; please note my frequent use of "commas" and "semi-colons." I very rarely post on any other fan sites, and have never said anything against G or COH. Especially offensive is whoever claimed to be "davidarochelle" said that she was also writing on COH as "Kirstie Allie." Kirstie is one of several actors, "A-list" at the time, who have hurt my acting career by barring me from their sets, simply because I got bigger laughs, and compliments from the director at the time. So obviously I am very hurt that anyone would think that we are the same person, or that we have any connection.

Worse is that many of you on COH, including "it's me", "phys major", and "pari" supposedly also authored insane statements on Just Jared. "Pari," I don't know whether to laugh or scream in anger when I read an imposter commenting as you, writing in a proficient grammatical style, and claiming to be really G on COH.

I have responded as quickly as possible whenever someone falsely uses my name. It has been very difficult this past week as I was temporarily "computer-less." I feel that I cannot ignore the "crazies," as who knows how many completely delusional readers believe that I would make up "off-the-wall" stories. I also am incensed about having my name "dragged through the mud" with such a negative association. If anyone has a concrete suggestion on how to stop the insanity, or a way of contacting the original author of Just Jared about a block of the "nutjobs," please let me know. Thank you in advance. The one and only, true, Davida-Rochelle

It was on the comments section. Maybe Katiedot can explain. I think you can just "click" on comments and add yours at the end. And "its' me" should know that a "phony poster" claims that you are also really "G." Too funny.

OMG! I just do not know how George does it with award season, guest appearances, humanitarian work, making films, trying to keep it looking like he has a grand relationship with a female, granting interviews, rubbing turkey on his balls oops on his shoes, spending naked time with the boys in the hot tub, etc..... How does he find time to be so many identities in the blogosphere world to make so many comments, he is God! I bow to him (NOT)! (CS)

Cinderella, I just read a post (#38) on Just Jared where a faker using my real name outed you as really being Kirstie Allie on this site. Did you know about this?

What is scaring me is that the actual author of this post knows that I had struggled for years in Hollywood, (in part because actors like Kirstie tried to ban me from sets.) So I don't know how she knows such very personal info about my career, or who she really is, or what potential damage she can do to me. She almost got me 86'd from COH, by claiming to be me and dissing COH in the post.

I know most of you like reading fun stuff in this section, so I am truly sorry for being so serious. But good things are finally happening for me and I am afraid the "nutcase" impersonating me will try to do more harm.

I really don't care who thinks they "outed" me... I am not Kirstie Alley... And... I will not search the internet to read those childish comments... I have been very involved with the book I am writing and I only stop in here and CNCU to see what's up with my friends. Anyway, I think I've made friends here and that's what keeps me coming back. Well... besides reading about George, of course!

Oooh, what are you writing about Cinders?

Don't worry about the Kirstie Alley thing but forgive us for not forgetting it soon because it's absolutely hilarious. The person who thinks that also thinks George works for the CIA and that Stacy Keibler is trying to murder them using poisonous spiders. Clearly a fruitcake.

Apparently we already have two celebrities writing for us, so who knows, maybe there are others here we don't know about yet. Who wants to be Bruce Willis?

When a "nutcase" writes as if he/she is Cinderella or Sad Donkey, and says bizarre things about COH (that some here claim to believe,) then I think that it is very, very serious. And worse for me, whoever it is knows very personal info about me and my career.

It's not at all serious Davida. It's the ravings of someone who's quite clearly lost their grip on reality a while back and makes for funny reading.

If people know stuff about you it's because you're posting this information about yourself using your real name (according to you) in a very public space. That's not a smart thing to do.

If you're not happy with what's being said about you, then you need to report those posts.

Hah! I've just figured out how we can 'out' It's Me. She needs to send a pair of her shoes to an independent adjudicator (and seeing as this intrigue centres around random TV celebrities, I think it should be Don Johnson) and if her shoes smell like turkey balls we'll know she's really George.

Do we have a plan?

Only the Irish have Jokes Like These

Into a Belfast pub comes Paddy Murphy, looking like he'd just
been run over by a train.
His arm is in a sling, his nose is broken, his face is cut and bruised
and he's walking with a limp.
"What happened to you?" asks Sean, the bartender.
" Jamie O'Conner and me had a fight," says Paddy.
"That little shit, O'Conner," says Sean, "He couldn't do that
to you, he must have had something in his hand."
" That he did," says Paddy, "a shovel is what he had, and
a terrible lickin' he gave me with it."
" Well," says Sean, "you should have defended
yourself, didn't you have something in your hand?"
" That I did," said Paddy.
"Mrs. O'Conner's breast, and a thing of beauty
it was, but useless in a fight."
**********************************************************************************************************
An Irishman who had a little too much to drink is driving
home from the city one night and,
of course, his car is weaving violently all over the road.

A cop pulls him over.
" So," says the cop to the driver, where have ya been?"
"Why, I've been to the pub of course," slurs the drunk.
" Well," says the cop, "it looks like you've had quite
a few to drink this evening."
"I did all right," the drunk says with a smile.
"D id you know," says the cop, standing straight and
folding his arms across his chest,
that a few intersections back, your wife fell out of your car?"
"Oh, thank heavens," sighs the drunk.
"For a minute there, I thought I'd gone deaf."

***********************************************************************************************************

Brenda O'Malley is home making dinner, as usual,
when Tim Finnegan arrives at her door.
"Brenda, may I come in?" he asks. "I've
somethin' to tell ya".
" Of course you can come in, you're always welcome,
Tim. But where's my husband?"
" That's what I'm here to be telling ya, Brenda."
There was an accident down at the Guinness brewery..."
"Oh, God no!" cries Brenda. "Please don't tell me."
" I must, Brenda. Your husband Shamus is dead
and gone. I'm sorry."
Finally, she looked up at Tim.. "How did it happen, Tim?"
" It was terrible, Brenda. He fell into a vat Of
Guinness Stout and drowned."
"Oh my dear Jesus! But you must tell me the truth,
Tim. Did he at least go quickly?"
"Well, Brenda... no. In fact, he got out three times to pee."

************************************************************************************************************

Mary Clancy goes up to Father O' Grady after his Sunday
morning service, and she's in tears.
He says, " So what's bothering you, Mary my dear?"
She says, "Oh, Father, I've got terrible news . My
husband passed away last night."
The priest says, "Oh, Mary, that's terrible. Tell me, Mary,
did he have any last requests?"
S he says, "That he did, Father."
The priest says, "What did he ask, Mary? "
She says, He said, 'Please Mary, put down that damn gun...'

*********************************************************************************************************

ANDTHEBESTFORLAST

A drunk staggers into a Catholic Church, enters
a confessional booth, sits down, but says nothing.
The Priest coughs a few times to get his attention
but the drunk continues to sit there.
Finally, the Priest pounds three times on the wall.
The drunk mumbles, "ain't no use knockin, there's
no paper on this side either!"

Still haven't seen TD, drove all the way downtown and ended up sitting in restaurant with girls talking about relationships, the good, bad, sad, and when to know it's time to give up walk away and start over. My 25 year old is going through a tough time with the boyfriend. Oh well , I'll see it someday, besides the talk was much more important than George.

lucy, you have no idea how right you are. Just to be able to spend alone time with your girls and be able to communicate and evaluate is the best. George can wait. He'll be around, whether on big screen or small, you'll get to see it someday. The girls are now and very real. It is wonderful to spend that time with them.

Exactly! Glad you got to spend some quality time with our girls. Sorry to hear about the guy problems of your daughter. The others are right, the movie will always be there.

Here's a funny for ya. I swear, this random stuff only happens to me. One of our cats fell into the pool (again Rolling Eyes ) a while back and her really thick hair became matted. I've been brushing her on and off and finally realized that I'm not making much headway and I know its uncomfortable for her. So I broke down and got her an appt tomorrow to be shaved. Soooooo, insert the shaved pussy jokes here...

MyGirl ROFL -- that reminds me of what my black cat Charlie did a couple of years ago. My entertainment center is right next to my 30 gallon fish tank. I usually have the cover on the tank but lifted it up and walked away. Charlie likes to sit on the top of the fish tank and she didn't realize it was open. She jumped from the cabinet to the fish tank and sunk to the bottom. She survived the bungee jump but I lost a couple of fish.

I haven't picked her up yet but considering the way her hair was in knots down her sides the pattern of the shave maybe just be a landing strip. Wink

She was not a happy camper! She looks so funny. They shaved her back & sides down to the skin. It feels soft like velvet or peach fuzz. Here's a pic I just took of her. She's not mad at me any more but she probably will when she figures out that she won't be going out until it starts to grow back. LOL

Cute pic MyGirl. Reminds me I had a beautful Himalayan cat once in the summer - had to get him cut because his hair was tangled. The groomer didn't cut his face or tail and he ended with a lion's tail and face and tiger's body. And he was embarrassed too - I could tell.

Lmao at being able tell he was embarrassed. Her tail is about 1/4 shaved. Jypsy's hair isn't that long but it's really thick so when she got wet it just formed big knots of matted mess. I have no idea what breed she is. Im thinking there is some rag doll or something with the blue eyes and soft, thick hair but she has some Torti color patterns in her coat.

A cop was on his horse waiting to cross the street,
when a little girl on her new shiny bike pulled up beside him.

'Nice bike,' the cop said. 'Did Santa bring it to you?'

'Yes Sir,' the little girl said, 'he sure did!'

The cop looked the bike over and handed
the girl a $5 ticket for a safety violation.

The cop said, 'Give this to your Dad, and next year,
tell Santa to put
a reflector light on the back of it!'

The young girl looked up at the cop and said,
'Nice horse you've got there Sir.
Did Santa bring it to you?'

Playing along with the girl, he chuckled and answered,
'Yes, he sure did!'

The little girl looked up at the cop and said:

'Next year tell Santa;
The d**k goes underneath the horse, not on top'!!!

It's a book... nothing that some of you would be interested in. I signed up with a publisher and have been proofreading, and proofreading, and proofreading, and proofreading, and proofreading... next up... formatting and, formatting and, formatting and, formatting and... it's a very arduous job! It takes a lot out of me. That's why I haven't been posting lately. Thanks for asking!

Glad you liked the joke ladies.

I liked all the pictures from Venice this year, so it's happy memory time with my avatar.

Have a good Christmas trip Katie.
