George Clooney says “Ciao!” to his Italian girlfriend after she begs for a wedding and a baby

Thanks to her flawless lingerie model figure and world-famous boyfriend, George Clooney, Elisabetta Canalis went from relative obscurity to being one of the world’s most envied women. But not even the Italian actress’ stunning looks could hold the attention of the world’s most notorious bachelor, and on Junn 22, the couple of two yers announced their split—and friends of the elusive Hollywood star aren’t in the least bit surprised. “Elisabetta was pushing to have a baby and George doesn’t want to be a father at 50,” a source tells In Touch.

It’s an all-too familiar pattern for the hunky humanitarian, who has openly stated his commitment to non-commiment. “George is very up front,” an insider tells In Touch. “He makes it clear that marriage and kids are not his thing. The new women in his life always seem to be oaky with it—but as the relationships get comfortable, his girldriends forget. They start pushing for things he doesn’t want, and then he’s emotionally out.”

Broke his cardinal rule: And Elisabetta was not exception. “She really thought she was the one who was finally going to tame him” a friend of the actress explains. “She saw herself as Annette Bening and George as Warren Beatty.” And to make matters worse, the beautiful 32-year old unwittingly crossed the line when she shared intimate details of the couple’s relationship with Italian magazine Chi revealing in the June issue, “I am very happy at the moment thanks to my man, and my fairy tale is continuing.”

Appearing to throw down the gauntle to the notorious commitment-phobe, she continued, “I could never ber with someone who, every time he opens his mouth, says he doesn’t want a child with me or (to marry me. I am a firm believer in marriage….in the future I will be married.”

Explains the source, “George says his idol is Frank Sinatra—who canceled his engagement to Lauren Bacall when she went to the press. When his women start doing interviews, it’s over.” And Elisabetta learned that the hard way. In the end, maybe she will be married—just not to George.

OK Magaine (July 11, 2010 issue) - doesn't have an article, just a photo of her and her brother shopping that day. They have another photo of 2 guys delivering the flat screen TV to her apartment. (IMHO, the screen looks to be at least 36” possibly 48”)

It is kinda weird they would release these pictures now. I guess they are trying to make as much money off him as they can. It’s a shame, GREED! George, so glad you’re out of that situation. Let them run their little schemes, “ill-gotten gains do not profit”.

Maybe she wanted to watch reports about her split on a bigger screen? At least she can still shop. Sounds like George's side is making their point of view really clear just in case she says something out of line in her big post split interview. Now she has been seen with someone else playing around it may be a hard sell.

So, I've been c hatting with one of my childhoow friends for like an hour or so on facebook and I decided to see Eli's page... She changed or relationship status to single, awwwww sleeping beauty

No pictures of the family but people who live in Laglio opposite Villa Oleandra, the barber of Laglio, the mayor of Laglio and owners of restaurants in Cernobbio and George and Los Angeles where he Ely went to eat frequently.

If she is dating two different men, maybe Eli’s trying to make George jealous? Maybe she thinks he’ll come running back? That was high school stuff here in the states. Do they still do that at her age in Italy?

Yes, I have to agree, he must have taken care “it” a long time ago. And I really don’t think he would have been able to get rid of Eli if she didn’t do something terrible! I know the laws here in the states about common law marriage and it’s strict. So, she did something! And I think he’s pissed and relieved at the same time.

I don't see how Eli could have thought things were fine I doubt George lead her on. I think she just thought she could get more time but the Chi interview backfired. I'm sure she is mad but not about losing Gee the money, the attention and the great lifestyle. Not sure how she will do in her big post split interview but it is going to be hard to sell her as this broken hearted woman who didn't see it coming! His pals talked and surely George not wanting her around was a sign things were not all well between the two. Let's not forget all the arguments his pals have admitted too. As for the vasectomy I have believed he had that done a very long time ago. Too many women for it not too have happened by now!
