Well, for a change The Equirer got these two statements completely correct.

She can't act - everyone said that when Leverage came out. Maybe she heard them (or her agent made it clear that she would not have an acting career in the States) and has taken that onboard. And if she has, good for her. She may have recognised her limitations and is focusing on something more attainable.

Interestingly enough, I would have lunch with her (as long as she's not cooking sea bass cookies!). I would ask her all your questions Dex, but doing it face-to-face and then being able to respond to her responses. I'm not a psychologist (in fact some call me psycho! -lol), but talking to someone in person, hearing their responses, seeing their body language, etc., you can respond immediately to questions that formulate. Now, we read an interview, weeks later a different interview with different answers, etc. But, looking into someone's eyes as they're speaking, gives a little different perspective. Then, I would smack her smout!!!!

Well, Blubelle, I don't know if she is jealous or not. According to her last interview, or was it the one before, or the one last year, or the one that will come out in a few days, or, or, or, she doesn't want marriage or babies. Or, was it she DID want marriage and babies? Oh, I remember, she wants to marry her dogs and raise horses! That's it!!!!

And we all know George knows how to use the tabloid's, he oftens says he learned how it worked from Rosemary's experiences. He often does go off the same script. time and time again - also keeping the image intact. I think is fully aware of the impact of his actions in the media.

I think when you aren't getting jobs and your agent tells you it isn't going to happen she has no choice but get the hint she isn't going to be successful in the States. No choice but to take it on board! I can see her going back to Italy and doing some sort of presenting gig. She won't get anything anywhere else. Once the split is out she can always say she can't handle being in the states and needs her friends and family back home. I'm sure she can make up some BS. Wonder what happened to her shop she was going to open?

You might be on to something Dexterdidit, it would be easier to break it off while they are in Italy versus the US. Time will tell.

He's not going to announce anything. We'll find out they've split for good when one or both of them are seen with other people.

Sarah Larson was the only exception and again there was no announcement. It was just that the gossip mags found out she was packing up her stuff and moving out of his home. The quotes we got from his "friends" and "close sources" at that time came as a response to enquiries from the gossip mags asking about the split.

I wouldn't necessarily think it'll be the same again.

With Lisa and Krista the only way we could be sure that they'd split was because there'd be stories of him out partying with other women. The Daily Mail kind of announced the split by saying that Lisa was in tears in Cannes and then a couple of days later George was seen in NY partying.

I never seen her as a fashionista, in order to operate a high end clothing store in LA, I would think you would have to know how to dress. JMO. She really does not dress to flatter her figure and Cavalli has not done her any favors. Maybe that is why she was used in his lingerie ads.

Well I guess now after the yachts pics there is some modeling for clothing involved.

I often wondered when he was seen out partying in Miami (with Lucy) if he was trying to get something across to someone. With all the photos of that evening it was like someone wasn't taking the hint that it was over. Who this was, maybe someone he was seeing that wasn't public. Or he was out just having a good time, who knows.

Or Cavalli didn't feel comfortable doing a lingerie shoot on the yacht and decided he better dress her?

@Melbert, I think the lingerie probably provides more coverage than her choice in swimsuits. Besides with the bendy betta butt shot, think of the possibilities.

You know in some ways we will all miss Bette when she goes. She has given us some great laughs, course she hasn't actually meant too! LOL Look at all the material we have, Melbert you could be a stand up comedian. Hope the next chick is as funny.

LOL Funny how he wouldn't put her in any of his shows but now she is good enough to model his clothes! I thought she would have talked about the shop by now. It may have just been put out there to see if they could get any interest. It would cost a lot of cash to start up and I don't think Eli would be the type to invest herself! If she is planning on spending most of her summer in Italy she can't be too serious about it. Those sort of things take time and effort and Eli prefers things handed to her. Unless she will just be the face of the shop? Could be the only way she gets a job.

I agree with Katiedot. We will see pics of George out partying and then hear a story how sad Eli is then friends from both sides will say yes it's over. That is how it normally goes. We still haven't seen them together so George isn't overly concerned about the split rumours not a good sign for Eli. Como will be interesting if George keeps up with the not wanting to be pictured with her rule. We will probably see Eli on the water with her friends like last year without George. She will make sure we all know she is there! He goes away for a couple of weeks in July so it will be interesting. Especially if the boys come visit!

It probably would be only leading her i-m-a-g-e (LOL) to the shop. I know modeling is not easy but she really doesn't seem to labor at anything, everything in her life seems to be about luxury.I can't see her opening up a shop everyday and running it, to much labor for betta.
