Only occasionally it doesn't show new posts and then I find some later.

While we're on the subject.... is there a way to go to the last post that you've read and not just the latest post, without having to scroll all the way back through the page ?
I can't find a way but I may have missed it.

My problem....well, it's not really a problem but more of a "crap, I have to fix that now" thing is, whenever I make a comment, it automatically says I'm "watching" the topic even though I didn't click on the watch this topic for replies link. Any thoughts Katiedot? Thanks in advance for any guidance.

Excuse me, Katie, I brought this problem up over a month ago and I don't recall you ever responding about it. Sorry if I missed it because the problem has been going on continuously. I also posted that it happens in both IE and FireFox.

You've not been able to use this feature at all for over a month? Or do you mean that mostly it works but sometimes it misses threads?

My fault for not also including comment in this thread, at the time. It was in another thread that comments were going back and forth and someone (nicely) said that same comments were made the day before and I posted that the Forum does not always open to "last comment read/from last visit" (when clicking on the orange square in any thread in any section) - it usually opens to last comment from that day. Happens more times than not. A couple of others responded that it happens to them, too.

To my knowledge this forum doesn't - and never has - go back to the last post you read, but opens at the most recent post posted. I know I've given that reply before, can't remember if it was to you or someone else.

I've tried SadDonkey's method just now but that doesn't work for me. Not sure why it works for her other than to say she's lucky!

Everytime I log on, I never use the posts since last visit thingy. I just stay on the face page and in every topic that has the reddish highlight, I click on. Then each individual thread within the topic is highlighted in orange by the person who last posted there. When I click on that orange square, it takes me to the last post that I READ, not the last post posted. I like that!!!!

Katie try again tomorrow when there are more new posts than just one. When I click now on that orange square it takes me to the last post too in that thread, because just one poster posted, if there are (eg) 5 new posts I haven't read yet, it would take me to the first post I haven't read yet.

When you click on view posts since last visit, the orange square is on the left side. 7 posts above your post you'll see it's me's snapshot, you'll see what I mean. BTW - I can recommend this way 'cause it is the fastest

I've always clicked on the square on the RIGHT side of the screen and it goes to the last post on thread.
SO...just tried doing it on the LEFT side of the screen and arrived at the same, last post on thread. But, I will persevere !

Looking at screen -

Clicking on the orange square next to the poster's name to the far right of a thread line brings you to the last post in that thread.

Clicking on the orange square next to the thread's name to the far left of a thread line brings you to the last post (the person who is clicking) read. Same kind of set-up as in CU. However, for over a month, it doesn't always work here - Forum brings you to the last post "it" wants to go. And I'm not talking the last post that was posted.

The end of January I received a PM from Katie and among other things, she stated that she has received copies of PMs that I send to others here. Katie would not tell me who would stoop so low. I've only spoke to 1 person in the month of January and nothing to do with Katie so I doubt it was her.

I told Katie I totally disagree with her in keeping the confidentiality of the senders of the fake PMs. This is the lowest of the low and I think anyone in this situation has the right to know who would make up such things. But, so be it, maybe its best not to know.

I"m sorry its come to this as I would never stab anyone here in the back. I"m posting this for others to be warned of what could happen to you.

I'm not sure what you think you're warning people about, but yes, when someone sends me something in confidence then I keep that confidence no matter how much anyone else insists that I break that promise.

In the past you yourself have confidentially forwarded me PMs from other people. I would never share those PMs that you sent me and I'm sorry that you don't understand that likewise I would never share anyone else's with you.
