Go on a vacation with George Clooney - oh yes!
05:55 AM Dec 04, 2010HE'S been called the Sexiest Man Alive, but now people are also calling him their favourite personality to go on vacation with.

Americans polled said they would love to go with George Clooney (picture) for a holiday getaway, while most would also invite comedian Ellen DeGeneres to a holiday party, and ask First Lady Michelle Obama to decorate their Christmas tree, according to a study conducted for HomeGoods stores.

Of those polled, 43 per cent said they would like to spend a day at Clooney's Lake Como villa in Italy; 27 per cent chose Oprah Winfrey's Santa Barbara estate; 20 per cent picked the French chateau of actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie; and 11 per cent liked rapper Jay-Z and singer Beyonce's New York City home.

The First Lady got 38 per cent of the vote among Americans asked who should decorate their home for the holidays, followed by former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin with 22 per cent, Playboy founder Hugh Hefner with 16 per cent, comedian Joan Rivers with 13 per cent and entertainer Lady Gaga with 11 per cent.

Given a list of celebrities to select from, 39 per cent of Americans picked DeGeneres as their No 1 cocktail party guest, followed by comedian Whoopi Goldberg with 29 per cent and talk show hosts Kelly Ripa and Kathie Lee Gifford with 21 and 11 per cent, respectively. REUTERS
